All our discs, from the simplest flat discs, have longevity and reliability built into the specification and are manufactured from the toughest heat-treated alloy steel. Built as standard, made to order, coloured anodised centres or customised.
ABE will not compromise on safety and all our discs are riveted together, like most original equipment.
FROM THE SIMPLEST FLAT DISC TO THE MOST SOPHISTICATED FLOATING DISC.
INCLUDES ALLOY CAST CENTRE AND DISHED CENTRES WHERE REQUIRED.
Starting life in the laboratory, following metallurgical tests, and after consultation with the British Steel Advisory Council (BSAC) the ABE disc can match the optimum alloy steel material to motorcycle requirements, enabling us to produce a product with maximum mileage expectancy with no compromise on safety. For this reason we will not produce cast iron or plate steel brake discs. All our materials are of the highest grade alloy steel, with full mill certification - only the best when it comes to brakes.
Our machine room standards are also of the highest order and our computerised numerical control (CNC) equipment is state of the art. This enables us to reproduce intricate detail and shape only found until now in the original equipment. In the case of twin-disc machines, this obviously enables prospective purchasers the choice of buying one or two, as required, and yet matching the machine.
